Personal thought: Political season- it is!

Since election fever is fast approaching, here are some quotes i think we should consider... :)

--- Instead of wasting time and effort destroying each other's relationships as schoolmates, as members of the community and as citizens of this nation, why don't we just take time and reflect what ways we can truly extend help and improve the society and the community we are living in. Clear your minds from all the personal motives and start having a good, clean, decent and professional campaign and election. Indeed, there are few who are hooked with all the sugar-coated promises, but the majority is intelligent and wise. :-)

"Well done is better than well said."  ~Benjamin Franklin

“Politics isn't about big money or power games; it's about the improvement of people's lives” - Paul Wellstone

"A promise is a cloud; fulfillment is rain."  ~Arabian Proverb

"Talk doesn't cook rice."  ~Chinese Proverb

"It is far more impressive when others discover your good qualities without your help."  ~Author Unknown

“Politics is almost as exciting as war, and quit e as dangerous. In war you can only be killed once, but in politics many times.” - Winston Churchill

"Talking much about oneself can also be a means to conceal oneself."  ~Friedrich Nietzsche

"You don’t have to wait till your party’s in power to have an impact on life at home and around the world." - Bill Clinton

“When we judge or criticize another person, it says nothing about that person; it merely says something about our own need to be critical.”

“Any fool can criticize, condemn, and complain but it takes character and self control to be understanding and forgiving.” -Dale Carnegie

“If you have no will to change it, you have no right to criticize it”

"Practice what you Preach" -American Proverb

Walk the talk!

According to Rico J. Puno's song,
"Bago mo linisin ang dungis ng iyong kapwa, Hugasan ang iyong putik sa mukha"

This post is not intended to hurt anyone. I just thought that these are good sayings that we need to reflect upon.
