Trend: List of Pulutan! (Appetizers)

Whether you like it or not, there will always a need for pulutan/appetizers during a drinking session. And since later tonight i'm going to have a drinking session with my girlfriends, i came up with the list of pulutan in mind.

1. Sizzling sisig- It may be Pork, Chicken, Tuna, Bangus, etc. This appetizer is surely famous to all Filipino drinkers. My choice would be Pork sisig especially if it's a crispy pork sisig. Dencio's, Crocodile Grill and Gerry's have good Sisig on their menu, but if you want a cheaper but tastier sisig, i recommend, SISIG HOORAY! For as low as P60, you have sisig and rice meal.

2. Ensaladang Mangga- Yes! Green Mango, onions, tomatoes chopped and mixed with bagoong can also be a good appetizer/pulutan.

3. Grilled pork intestines- The local street foods will always be part of the Filipino drinking culture. These street foods include the Betamax (or solidified pork blood), chicken intestines, our very own chicken feet, chicken neck and head, pork barbeque and so on. There is a vendor in my neighborhood that sells super yummy barbequeslocated at Severino Reyes st. just beside Real Bank.

4. Chicharon bulaklak and Bulalo- best place to go for these food?BULALUHAN SA ESPANA. It's along Espana, beside the old LTO office. Most taxi drivers know this place. Best bulalo and chicharon at a super cheap price.

5. Balot and penoy na may sabaw- Yum yum yum! I recommend the ballot stand near cayco st. There is this filipino guy we call kuya who sells good balot and penoy. I love the penoy na may sabaw.
6. Pizza- If you're the sosyal (shushall) one, you can try pizza and beer. =)PIZZA HUT and DOMINO's are the go to place for me. =)

7. Hot and Spicy chicken buffalo wings- i dont know where's the best place for the best spicy buffalo wings. My advise is that you cook your own, i think it will cost you less.
