My vote for the Bb. Pilipinas Universe 2012 title still goes to Maryl Jean Lastimosa. Last year, she placed runner up to the said pageant and as she competed this year she was unfortunate to place on the top 5. Nevertheless, she went home with special awards such as Binibining Avon and Binibing Philippine Airlines. She also was one of the top 12 semi-finalists who participated the question and answer portion. Personally, i think that she wasn't able to give a direct and precise answer but she was able to provide a good answer. It's just that i think there are other semi-finalists who were able to provide and deliver interesting good answers that wowed the crowd and the judges. Overall, MJ did a great job with the whole pageant. She carried herself with confidence,oozing sex appeal, owns a to die for voluptous curvy body that i have to say she should be  the winner for the Best in swimsuit (she nailed that segment!), she has great stage presence and a very exotic beauty.(which we can battle with the latinas).

Oh well, have Mary Jean Lastimosa join the Ms. World Philippines. I am sure she has a huge shot!

Question: What do you think is the most pressing problem of the world today? And how do you, if you could help solve it as a beauty queen?


Mary Jean Lastimosa's anwer:

"I believe that one of the pressing problem of the world today is that people with their curiosity sometimes may harm them, and i believe that through pheriferal ... peripheral listening we be able to solve this problem. Curiosity in a right way of using it could lead us to knowing and that knowing could lead us to learning. Thank you"

One of the top favorites for the Bb. Pilipinas Universe 2012 title, the 23 year old Half German Half Filipina Law student from Cebu City bagged the awards for Best in National Costume, Best in Swimsuit and the title Binibining Pilipinas International 2012. 

I am not a fan of Nicole, however, i just have to say that she is truly confident, a standout and very intelligent during the pageant. She handled the question and answer portion in a very witty, confident and elegant manner. Her answer is also very relevant to the question and she gave a very personal and intelligent one.

"I would rather be someone respected because that means you maintain your integrity, dignity and self respect. And that means in turn, you will be loved, by whoever matters and everyone around you."
